Welcome to Open Tibia Spain Course. This course is focused on the management and

treatment  of open tibia fractures from an orthoplastic point of view. The aim of this course is to update the knowledge and state of the art of the treatment of these fractures, to provide useful information in order to improve the care of these complex injuries in an interactive way , combined with the practice of different orthopaedic and plastic surgery procedures in the cadaver lab.

 

The course is directed to consultants and senior registrars  (Trauma and Plastic surgeons) with a special interest in the treatment of fractures, and more specifically open fractures.

 

Knowledge of English language is required.

This course awards CFC points for full attendance. Accreditation request in process

(CCAA Madrid, National Health System, Spain).

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Any cancellation or replacement must be conveyed to the Organizer in writing. A cancellation charge of 50% of the fee will be levied if the cancellation is received before 15th Sep 2018. There will be no fee refund if the cancellation is made thereafter. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop and fully refund the participants should unforeseen circumstances necessitate it.

The organization will not be responsible of any other potential expenses incurred by the attendant.

The Human Anatomy Department (Departamento de Anatomía I) is a dedicated facility for the teaching of human anatomy over in the Universidad Complutense, offering also postgraduate and continued professional development (CPD) courses.

Supported by a team consisting of academic staff, demonstrators and technical support, the 3000 m2 facility allows space to work with anatomical models,prosected human specimens and the latest technological resources to deliver an exceptional level of teaching.
